The award-winning musical stars acclaimed R&B songstress Deborah Cox, who takes on Whitney Houston’s iconic silver screen role from the ‘90s box office sensation. “The Bodyguard,” the story of a former Secret Service agent-turned-bodyguard hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron, features some of Houston’s most memorable hits, including “Queen of the Night,” “Run to You” and “I Have Nothing,” and one of the best-selling songs of all time, “I Will Always Love You.”

WHERE: Missouri Botanical Garden

WHEN: Various times, Oct. 6 to Oct. 8

Artisans from St. Louis and across the state get an opportunity to showcase their products, from locally sourced cured meats, wine and baked goods to handcrafted soaps, clothing, jewelry, pottery and more. The event, with more than 120 vendors, live music and a kids’ corner, offers attendees plenty of ideas for home entertaining and decorating, as well as an early start on their holiday shopping.

WHAT: Zac Posen – St. Louis Jewish Book Festival

The celebrated fashion designer and judge on the Emmy Award-winning “Project Runway” is bringing his passion for food front and center as a keynote speaker for the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival. His new book, “Cooking with Zac,” his beautifully plated dishes stress the balance between healthy, fresh and local ingredients, as well as showcase some of his mouth-watering, decadent desserts. WHAT: Katy Perry – The Witness Tour

The famed singer/songwriter brings her fourth concert tour to St. Louis to promote her new album, “Witness.” Released this summer, “Witness” features hits “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit,” featuring Migos. Each ticket purchase for the tour comes with a copy of the album, and $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Boys & Girls Club of America.
